<div itemprop="description">Marjorie, who passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013, will be lovingly remembered by her family. Marjorie was born June 5, 1934 to Gerald and Isabel Hart of Kincardine, Ontario. Marjorie married Stanley Freeman in 1954 and they raised four children: Susan (Neil McKee) - Graham, Peter and Moira; Sandy (Rick Harkin) - Patrick and Emma; Diana (Wayne Hagerty) - Nicholas; Dan (Colette) - Thomas, Casey and Connor. Stanley and Marjorie&rsquo;s love of family and the out-of-doors was apparent in their decision to raise their young family at &ldquo; The Farm&rdquo;, the 18 room mansion on Highway 8 east of Goderich. Marjorie taught primary school: Kindergarten, Grade One and Two for 27 years at Victoria Public then Robertson Memorial School in Goderich. Her love of children and her musical talent for playing the piano and singing brought joy to many through the years of Christmas Concerts, Spring Concerts and other musical productions. Following her retirement from the Huron County Board of Education in 1990, Marjorie taught piano lessons for many years. She was involved musically in other venues as well. In addition to being a long-time member of the choir, Marjorie was an active member of St. George&rsquo;s Anglican Church in Goderich. Marjorie was fun-loving and had a curious mind. She was a devoted partner of Stanley who predeceased her July 31, 2012. Marjorie played and had fun with her children and her grand-children. Always the teacher, Marjorie ensured that learning was a priority: literature, music and the wonders of the natural world were shared with those around her. Marjorie and Stanley resided at the Queensway Nursing Home in Hensall for the last four years. The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding level of care provided by Queensway Staff.</div>
