KING, Patrick Dennis - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December26, 2015 in his 88th year. He will always be remembered by the love of his life Leslie, and his children Michael (Carol), Geoffrey (Shelley), Victoria (Lou), Stephanie (Brett). Proud grandfather of Brent (Michelle), Paige, Michael, Shelby, Cassandra, Fraser, Kelsey, Blake and Jenna. Great grandfather of Olivia. Special friend to Abby and Arnold. Brother-in-Law to Frank (Beverly) Walsh and Patricia (Alan) Koch. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Far too long he fought the fight, with victory no longer in sight
He lowered his stance for a final blow and with pride and at peace our soldier let go

Royal Commission Captain Canadian Forces (Cadets), Goderich Rotary Club, Goderich Fireworks, Grand Marshall Goderich parade, Director Maitland Valley Conservation Authority, Vice President Zone 6 Ontario Chiefs of Police Association, Life member Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, Life member Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, Life member Sergeants Past and Present Association Grenadier Guards, Company Quarter Master Sgt. Army Cadet Force Dover England, Cadet 345 Squadron Air Training Corps Dover, National Spotters Association (1941-46), Lecturer (part-time) Ontario Police College, Member of John Hindmarsh Foundation.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Knight’s of Columbus Centre, 390 Parson’s Court, Goderich on Sunday January 10, 2016 from 1-4 PM. Remembrances will commence at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Maitland Air Cadets or the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, 519-524-7345.
