<div itemprop="description">Died on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Alexandra Marine and General Hospital (AMGH), at peace and in prayer with his beloved Loretta and his family by his side. Born in Kitchener on June 28, 1928 to Herbert and Anne (Robson) Zettell. Husband for 65 years to Loretta May Zettell (Schnarr). Survived by his sister Kathleen Grundy, Waterloo. Father to Susan Zettell and Andy Watt, Cape Breton; Anne and Peter Knittle, Brucefield; Alex Bryans, Ayr; Diane and Bill Fowler, Kitchener; Patrick, Kitchener; Nancy Zettell and Rick Pope, Ottawa; James Zettell and Heather Stewart, Stratford; Jackie Howey and Mark Poser, Kitchener; Jerry Zettell Jr., Cambridge. Grandchildren Daniel (Noelle England) and John; Shane (Kimberly); Tiffany (Heinz) and Kristine; Kyle and Sara; Amy (Steve), Eli and Mackenzie; Michael (Kate), Zachary, Jonathan and Kate. Great-grandchildren Lilah; Mackenzie; Eric and Lindsay; Nathan, Michael and Abigail and Austen Loretta Miller who joined us just as Jerry left. Predeceased by daughter Bernadette Bryans (2011), son Thomas (1987). Brothers John, Walter and Bill Drouin; sisters Cecilia Whaley, Georgina Zinger and Rose Marie Lee. A man devoted to his wife and family and his Church and community, Jerry lived a full and long life with Type 1 diabetes. Loretta and family thank the caring and gentle staff at AMGH in particular Dr. Bezaire, Dr. Spacek and the Palliative Care team on the 2nd floor.<br /><br />Friends will be received at McCallum &amp; Palla Funeral Home, 11 Cambria Road North, Goderich, on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 2-5 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter&rsquo;s Roman Catholic Church, 156 North Street, Goderich, on Monday November 2, 2015 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to AMGH or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Friends may sign the book of condolences at www.mccallumpala.ca<br /><br /></div>
